A Bottle Shop for Beer & Wine Lovers in Portland

We’re a neighborhood beer and wine shop in Portland where you can find a great selection of wines, ciders, and craft beer. We keep a well-balanced selection with a fresh rotation of local and international options on the shelves and on tap, so there’s always something new to try.

Jeff’s Place

Owner Jeff Welton is an industry veteran and enjoys sharing his love and knowledge of adult beverages with patrons and friends of the Lents neighborhood. When the opportunity came to open his own space in 2024, it simply made sense. Since then, he’s been curating a rotating selection of international and local craft beer, new and old world wines, and seasonal special releases that we’re excited to share with you.

Cozy, Warm, and Friendly

We strive to make our space as welcoming as possible. You want a cozy space to enjoy your drink without feeling intimidated by the selection (or the attitude coming from behind the bar.) Always happy to answer questions, we can give you some guidance on what you might enjoy. And if you know what you’re looking for, we can point you where to look or simply stay out of the way.

What’s on Our Shelves

Our selection is always changing, but here’s what you’ll typically find:

European Wines – Reds, whites, and everything in between from small producers across the continent (Jeff has a penchant for old world wines that he’d love to talk to you about.)
New World Wines – Wines from the western hemisphere can be found in our cooler and shelves as well as behind the bar
Craft Beer – IPAs, pilsners, stouts, and more from the Pacific Northwest and beyond
Cider – Local and international options for the apple or pear-minded drinker
Vermouth – There’s always a few unique options behind the bar to try, and at least a couple on the shelf to take home
Rotating & Seasonal Picks – Limited-edition bottles, special releases, and fun new finds
